My family is considering a quick trip over Columbus Day weekend (Fri.-Tues.) I am hoping for some type of discount. It looks like the possibility of free dining is out, since I've read that my dates are consistently blacked out each year. So it looks like my options are:
1) general public (or Disney Visa) discount
2) bounceback offer to be booked during my June-July trip (I think these dates are blacked out again, though?)
3) AP discount - I am considering upgrading to an AP during my summer trip, but this option will lose its appeal if there are no chances of an AP discount being offered during this time frame.
Which option do you think is most likely? Is Columbus Day weekend indeed blacked out for the bounceback offer? Are AP discounts typically offered during this time period? Thanks for any help you can give!
