I'm so discouraged! We've been on the Waitlist for a 1 BR at BCV, and now it's less than 30 days (we know we're going-we already have a confirmed studio that week). But we were really hoping for the extra room of a 1 BR. Now we're within 30 days, and although I made sure our waitlist remains active until 7 days within our trip, I'm so discouraged and about ready to give up any hope. Please tell me any stories of WLs coming through within 30 days.

No stories but I'm 36 days out for a bcv studio, one night October 24th waitlist. I feel your pain. So defeated. We have a backup plan. With F&W and the refurb, the odds are against us. My waitlist is only one night and have had it about 6 months now.....

In Feb I had a waitlist for a BWV Boardwalk view 1 bedroom come thru to replace the pool/garden view 1 bedroom at 24 days or so from check in. It was for 5 nights. I had actually been going to just cancel the waitlist a few days earlier because after making the initial reservation I had added a couple of days and was first at VGF then in a pool/garden view 1 bedroom at BWV but that night wasn't part of the waitlist and I was deciding it would be better to not move twice in as many days. Figured I was safe once I hit the 30 days!

When I checked in at BWV they actually could have put me in the boardwalk view from the start but it was the ground floor 1Br whereas if I moved I was going into the exact area I requested on the 5th floor. So I waited and moved.

I was looking also to waitlist from a studio to a 1BR when we found an additional person to come with us. When I was setting it up on the website, I saw that if the waitlist came through, I would lose all my Advance Dining Reservations, so I decided not to follow through with the waitlist. It seems like there should be a way to keep your ADRs, but I did not want to chance it.

You would not have lost the dining reservations. It's the Dining Plan that would need to be re-ordered.
