Any chance for a room only discount april 13 thru 19 still?

ARe we completely out of luck for a discount this week? I understand it's the holiday week... Just was curious if there was any hope still?

If you don't mind using a third party broker, check through cheaptickets.com and see if they still have a 20% off promo code. Several persons I know have gotten discounts at Disney resorts for that week using this site. It's a room-only reservation and you can't do packages. But you do have to prepay (cancellation up to 5 days out is permitted just like booking through WDW) and you have to arrange anything like changes to the reservation through the broker, not through Disney.

As those dates are part of Easter weekend it's possible you won't find many discounts.

I'm having the same issues -- sad because every resort room category is available. If they'd offer a deal, maybe they'd book some rooms....

I've been going back and forth about trying the cheaptickets deal. It's 20% off. Only glitch is it charges for kids in the room under age 10. Some people are saying to call, but another person just posted they called and were told there is indeed an extra charge for kids(?). So I'm not sure if I want to mess with all that....

You can get a room-only AAA discount, but it's not much, at least the rooms I priced they gave me 10-15% off which might or might not cover the tax....

I have checked out cheaptickets and there is a deal there...we would need a room only...not sure why they are charging fir kids....we only have one so its not that terrible but still....I just wish I knee if disney has ever released a deal closer to easter...I cant remember

Disney did offer deals at Easter a while ago when the economy was so bad. But as of the last couple of years, they have not offered a deal for the week leading up to Easter. The only hope I have is AP rates have not been released yet and I'm wondering if maybe they won't black out Easter for those deals. I'm not sure what we'll do -- the rooms we want are all around $1,000+ per night, which is WAY too much.... They really jack the Easter prices up too much, which is obviously why every resort category is still available.
