Any chance Disney allows fewer FP+ to be booked during max crowds?

I'm just wondering this, have no real reason to think so. It would seem that booking fewer FP+ would make standby lines go faster. This would make the really crowded crowds happy, no?

It would also level load the experience overall. During slow times, the standby waits would appear to be 35 minutes for, say, Pirates. And on a crazy busy day, if fewer FP+ were able to be booked, Pirates might be only 65 minutes.

I have no way of knowing, but I doubt it. I believe they have their magic formula and when it's filled it's fine. I think when it is busy all the lines will be long

I actually sort of think they book an even greater percentage of capacity as FP during high crowd times to keep more people out of line. That's based on nothing except anecdotal stories about the ease of scheduling top tier rides those weeks compared with lower crowd weeks. Of course part of that is because of longer park hours.
