Any Cdn Dis'ers going to interviews next month?

My cousin did it a year ago. He took a year off Univ. to go. He had a wonderful time. The housing is a condo complex next to Premium Outlet Mall. From the outside it looked nice, I just droped him off after dinner, out front.
Honestly, I don't know how comfortable you will be as the residences are mostly young 20 something or Univ. students. And you have to share apartments. Very college dorm like. But if you're good with that, I hope you get your dream! Best of luck.

My daughter and her friend (see Minnie56's post earlier! ;))have interviews in Toronto for the CRP. I have to agree with the PP....I couldn't imagine a 40 year old mother having to live with 5 other 20 somethings....the living situation down there can honestly make an otherwise great experience miserable if you're housed with people you don't get along with!

Good luck!

An update for all - my Disney dream is on hold :sad1: I was offered a job I can't pass up for the good of the family, and have decided to put my Disney CM dream on the back burner - I will work there some day though, and I don't care what age I am! My daughter is determined to do the CRP when she's done high school in 3.5 years, so our goal is to do it together if I can take the time (I will make the time!). So even if I am stuck with a younger crowd, one will be my own daughter!
Thanks for all your support and well wishes. I'm still going in 75 days to celebrate my Dad's 65th birthday with him and my DSIS :santa: (only a four day trip, but I'll take it!).
Plus, DH feels so bad my dream is a wash for now (liar, he's been bouncing around knowing he doesn't have to do all my 'jobs' at home!:headache:), he promised I can take a solo trip any time I'm able if I need to get away! :woohoo:
Hope everyone else has a great interview and a wonderful year working at WDW!:goodvibes

Does anyone know if there is an age limit to the Cultural Representative Program? My DH thinks I should apply! ;)

Actually, my older DS who is in his last year of a Master's program may be interested. We are just starting to look into this. From what I understand since he will be finished his program he would only be eligible for the CRP program. Is that correct?

However, he might also consider continuing on into a college program so then he would be eligible for the 3-6 month summer International College Program during that time, if I understand this all correctly?

No age limit - I'm 40 and got accepted to the face to face interviews!!:goodvibes

If your son isn't in school, the CRP is his only option. If he is in school, he has more options. Visit the Yummy Jobs website, they take care of placement for Canada.
