Any cast members out there?

My fiance is a cast member. We will be going on our first cruise(our honeymoon) in June. Do cast members get any discounts on the ships stores,spas, excursions, etc? I would just like to know what to expect ahead of time.

As much as I respect what Disney wants, this is a public board with a lot of people comparing notes and sharing secrets to save money, get better deals etc. I myself am not a cast member and never will be unfortunately. It would be nice to know what some people get....which we discuss all the time....just my opinion...

If talking about this stuff was conspiratorial or the like fine. I'm sure Disney doesn't like some of the discount codes, or other stuff talked about, but the positive info about their cruise line far outweighs it. The fact employees get perks is no surprise and discussing it is not different than talking about some guy that works on the line at GM getting discounts on a new Avalanche.
Disney should worry about far bigger things than this. IF they are overly concerned at all really.

Maybe he should just ask his boss? I would think there must be some type of employee handbook that would tell him his benifits.

Yes I agree Ann that if you are a Disney employee that the information should be available at work as to what perks, discounts etc are around. Aquagirl's fiance should be able to get that info at work.
However it would be interesting to the rest of us plebians, and maybe to some people that are considering working at/for Disney. For those that are "in the know" it would be interesting to let the rest of us know.

Disney Cast Members are forbidden as part of their employment from discussing their discounts, benefits, etc. with the public. I am sorry to say that we cannot allow discussion of them here either. Thank you for your cooperation.
