Any car rental companies near the airport?

After several unsuccessful searches, figured I'd ask here. Are there any major car rental companies (not EZ, etc) near MCO? Perhaps in a nearby hotel? Rental car prices for the last week of Feb are ABSURD from the airport. I've found some more affordable options where I'm actually going (The Villages), or at the Car Care Center in WDW (where we're not going, but could theoretically take a taxi to if necessary), if we wanted to take a taxi or a shuttle, but neither situation is ideal, due to hours (The Villages) or location (CCC). So, since I know better rates are out there, wondering if there are any other rental car locations closer to the airport, and if anyone has any experience with them?

Can't help with recommendations but if you go to Google Maps and enter "Car Rentals near MCO" the map will show you all the ones in the terminal. If you then zoom out you'll see rental companies that aren't actually in the terminal. Might be a place to start.

Also, keep trying to get one from the airport. I couldn't get one below $300 initially ( like two months out) but just two weeks out from our trip, I cut that price in half for a nine day rental from Alamo right at the airport.

jsilvers, I saw that, but I'd prefer to rent from the bigger, known companies. Thank you though.

kwdw, I will be checking daily for sure. I'm concerned though, because rates for that week historically don't go down (Daytona 500 week), but they also are not typically this high for then right now. We shall see.

Of the above, only Hertz appears to have free transportation (via the Marriott’s shuttle).
