Any Canadians greeted by CM's with iPads at resort check in?

We are planning to do on-line check before arriving at our resort. Just wondering if any Canadians have ever been greeted by CM's as they enter the resort with iPads, welcoming them by name? We would love to have this happen (no reason other than it looked 'magical' when we saw it happen to another family as we all got off the Magical Express). But, since we are Canadian and do not get our magic bands delivered to our homes (but rather pick them up at resort check in), does this mean it can't happen for us? I assume that it's the magic bands that people are wearing when they get off the ME that indicates to CM's who they are? Just curious TIA

In December when we checked into Pop, a cm with an iPad made a beeline for me as I walked in from the ME. He didn't know my name, but as soon as I gave him my last name, he told me my room was ready (this was about noonish) and he walked behind the desk to get me my package and magic bands.
The room was located exactly where we wanted to stay (Yay! First time ever!) It was pretty magical. Not as magical as knowing my name, but pretty darn close!

The funny thing is, when he first approached me, I said, "I don't think you can help me. I'm Canadian."

My wife was greeted by name and wished a Happy Birthday when checking in at the Boardwalk Villas a couple of years ago.

Lol... that is funny I would have thought the exact same thing as you when he approached you. Guess I just figured that without a magic band already, that we couldn't be helped.

We did last August.. at the YC - in the middle of the night. (late flight, very late arrival...)

But, we were wearing our MBs from a previous trip

We did at AoA last August. A CM was there, greeted us by name & had our MBs in a box. It was kind of cool

Yes, we were greeted at Polynesian as soon as we got off the ME. They didn't have our names either, but they said our room was ready and took us to the front desk to get checked in.

In Nov 2012, I was greeted by name as soon as I got off ME at AKL. It caught me off guard but was nice. Obviously, this was before MB's.

We stayed for a night at POR in a princess room and we were met at the MME by a CM with a sign with our names on it.
They also had a box with our magic bands. It was very special.

My DD and I were on our last trip in May. She was celebrating her graduation and was met as she stepped off of the DME motorcoach with balloons, our magic bands and our welcome kit. We were staying at CBR and were directed to the internal shuttle location. The iPads even said "Congrats Kyla" on them! Magical!
