Hi - has anyone come across any decent deals from Denver to Orlando? We'll be flying with 2 adults and 2 kiddos (dd4 and ds 10mo - we usually buy a seat for the baby). We prefer non-stop but we're willing to nego. if price is right ;) Thanks!!

Hi Viluvsdisney,

Would suggest you check Orbitz daily and also Fronter's website daily.

You didn't say when you're going but if you're willing to change planes somewhere, you can maybe catch Airtran, Delta, American at about 200 per person.

I caught a Frontier one day sale a couple of months ago--right when Fairytale package came out--for 276 nonstop per person and that's the best I've seen on the nonstops (frontier & United). We got a little break in that I'm traveling with DM. She gets a Sr. fare and one companion as well. So that brought two of our 3 tickets down to 250. With traveling with DM, unless the fare is like $100 cheaper, I'm not willing to do a connection. Mom moves to slow to fly thru airports to connections.

Nice to see another Colorado person on the boards! There aren't many of us....Good luck! Sharon

Thanks so much for the info :) Frontier is what I'm crossing my fingers for - it's nonstop and since I'm a poor traveler  it makes it much easier with just one take off!! I haven't seen anything lower than $299 per person - do you think it's worth booking? I'm getting anxious about it all coming together - but still have some time - we'll be there in Oct for Halloween :p Thanks again - hope you have a great time!!!!

Check Northwest Airlines. I saw a fare at the end of October for $171.50 per person. It's not nonstop but it's a lot cheaper than $299.00.

HI - we booked with Frontier - pretty good deal - avg ended up being 232 per person. Thank you so much for your advice!! Now it's starting to feel "official!!"

That's a very good fare NS from Denver! Congrats...

It's always a challenge when flying from Denver to find a decent fare for nonstop. That 232 you got beats our fares for the last two years!

Enjoy your trip. I'm anxious to try the DTV on Frontier and I'm sure it will keep your 4 year old happy. My DD9 is excited about it. Hopefully it has disney channel but I know it has Nick.

Sharon

Hi Hightown - can I ask about the DTV? We've heard about it but do not have info on it. Do you know about any of the particulars? Thanks!

Last December Delta had airfare from Denver to MCO with a brief layover in Atlanta for $151.50 per person. This was for the redeye flight leaving Denver at 12:40 AM and arriving in Orlando at 7:40 AM. I have booked this flight for a return trip to WDW over Labor Day and the cost was $187.50 per person. I think that anything under $300 from Denver to MCo is a deal.

Viluvsdisney, Frontier now has Direct TV on thier Airbus planes. There are little LCD screens build into the seat back in front of you. It costs $5. for the headset but seems well worth the price to me. They advertise 24 channels of realtime TV.

This will be our first time with this sort of deal. Beats movies you seen already or don't want to see and you can't really see anyway because of someone's head.

Have a great trip! You too Ptoad and welcome to the DIS. We leave on Labor Day!
