Is there an age limit (both younger and older) for the Mickey Pool? I recall reading some heated debates about the appropriate age (potty trained or not) for toddlers playng in the Mickey pool. What is the latest DCL policy?

Also, is there an age/height limit for the pool slide?

Thanks.

Yes, kids have to be potty trained. There is a height limit and an upper age limit. I remember the age limit is 14 because we noted that DD is just under it. And I can't remember the height but think it is about 5 foot because she is over that!

There was a height max. and min. for the slide, but not the pool, that I remember. Lots of parents playing with kids in the pool.

Children in swim diapers are still not allowed in any pool, including the very shallow "ears" in the Mickey pool. This was actively enforced on our recent cruise.

The "Passporter" states that minimum age for the slide is 4. Do they strictly enforce this? My son will be 2 weeks shy of 4 and he is very tall. He may be heartbroken if he can't go on the slide!:(

oh boy...my kids are almost 6, 4 1/2 and almost 3 1/2. My adventuresome 3 1/2 yr old will not be happy if she cannot join her sibs on the slide. She has been using the Disney resort slie since she turned 2..

Obviously if they enforce the age we will have to live with it. Knowing ahead will be nice though because we can keep the 3 yr old busy elsewhere while the older 2 do the slide..

My 3-year old is also tall for her age and she went down the
slide dozens of times. There is a cast member at the top of the slide monitoring the pace between kids (so that one is out of the bottom before the next one goes down). She/he never questioned my DD - probably because she never exhibited any fear or doubt about what to do.....

The height measurement is "no more than 64" tall." When we went w/friends, their daughter was 11 years old and 65"....really tall for her age. They let her go down once w/my daughter, but told her she was too tall for safety reasons.

Our DS was 3 and average height when we cruised. He always went with his older DS and was never questioned. I always waited at the bottom to help him out.

DCL had a CM at the top and another at the bottom making sure each child was out of the slide before the next one went down.
