Any advice/suggestion about park tickets or annual passes?

So we planned on going to WDW from Aug 2-15th. We were initially going from Aug 2th-12th with a split stay at POP (8/2-7) and Beach Club Villas (8/7-12)..now that BLT will be opened, we are going to extend our stay and stay at BLT from 8/12-15.

What I have currently booked is a MYW package at POP with 10 day park hopper since we wanted the dining plan for the first 5 days. Now..would it make more sense to buy just a 1 day ticket MYW package at POP and put the cost of the 1 day ticket towards an annual pass when we get there? (I can do that, right???). Now, we are sure that we will be back at WDW next summer, but just not sure when yet..if we will even make it back before Aug 2nd. Will the annual pass be still worth it if we don't make it back for another trip?

What other options do we have?? I don't think they sell passes for more than 10 days?

Thanks!!!

I think since you will be staying for 14 days and assuming you will go to a park at least once each day then the DVC discounted annual pass will probably be your best bet, even if you don't use it again within a year.

The DVC adult annual pass is $393 (includes tax). I don't think you can get other tickets for more than 10 days so assuming that's true then you would need a 10-day + a 4-day Park Hopper (price is the same for 3-6 day tickets) to get the same number of park admissions during your stay. The cost for that would be $298 + 275 = $593/adult, or a $200/adult difference.

You also get various dining, shopping & entertainment discounts with the Annual Pass that aren't available with the standard Park Hopper.

Thank you so much for the response. That's probably what we will end up doing - getting an annual pass, and maybe get the Table of Wonderland card for the discount. The annual pass still looks like the most cost effective way.
