Any advantage to ordering tickets on disney's site? paper tickets?

I am needing to order 10 day non-expiring park hopper w/ water park tickets for our upcoming trip and I noticed some cheaper prices on a few other websites like ticketmania.com ... but I don't want to get the cardboard type tickets.

Last year both times we went we did a package deal and got the hard plastic w/ the room key built in them... can they change this over when i check in? If I order off disneyworld.com do they send you the cardboard type tickets in the mail?

Does anyone have the discount link to ticketmania through mousesavers?

Our tickets from the official Disney site (the old type hoppers) were paper. Our AP vouchers were plastic, but the AP's themselves are paper. It's really good paper though, ours still worked after a soaking on Kali

I get an AP now (paper), but when I was buying tickets, here's what I got:

Order off WDW website - paper

Call Disney and order over the phone - plastic

Buy in WDW parks/hotels - paper

Ticketmania - paper.

Please note that the plastic cards I got from calling Disney did not look like the room keys (which were blue w/a pic of the castle last time I was there.) They were identical to the paper ones - a character against a colored background - but they were the hard plastic, like a credit card.

I really prefer plastic!

During my stay at the Poly last year, I transferred my ticketmania tickets to my room key, no problems.

I am also getting a 10 day from ticket mania. If we are only going for 5 days can we still request them to put the tickets on our plastic key and be able to use them next year?
