Anxious to hear from anyone beginning their stay this week at DVC ‘s at WDWD.

We have decided not to go near Roaring Forks again. If you stand on the wrong number they yell at you. My daughter was standing on No. 1 to pick up food and apparently should have been standing on No. 2 (nobody else in there except cast members and daughter’s family). My daughter also said the young cast member helping grab her straws and napkins was being yelled at by another cast member and she felt sorry for him.

Oh wow. That wasn't our experience at all. I wonder if the CMs are a little on edge. That's sad to hear :-(

Wait, if you don't go near roaring forms for any meals, what are your options?

Also, does the store have staples stocked? (Water soda, frozen pizza)

Hope you're enjoying your stay!

Has anyone been able to visit other resorts without a dining reservation?

We were at Riviera. They are being extremely strict. You can't get past the guard gate without a reservation and now they started screening the buses from Disney Springs.
Ok. Thank you! Looks like we will be venturing off property for our meals then.

I watched a bunch of first day videos. You can make ADRs at any of the DVC resorts. So, if you are at BLT, you can go to Beaches & Cream and then stroll the Boardwalk area after dinner.

I did see one video where the person was able to go from DS to another resort even though they were not staying there (they were staying at another DVC resort). I was surprise they did not have a system in place to make sure only resort guest got on the buses, since they were being so strict.

At least all DVC resorts have a sit down and counter service restaurants open for all guest.

I am not going till November, so hopefully things will be a little more normal. But the empty resorts looked pretty appealing, now crowds is kind of cool for one stay.

I watched a bunch of them as well and thought, that actually looks safer than staying where I am at. I mean, everything was empty. A couple of people ate at Topolino's and it looked like hardly anyone at all was in there...

We ordered food from the open air bar. They even made a grill cheese sandwich for us when we asked for our granddaughter. Also, the mercantile store has donuts, pizza, etc. and looked well stocked. We had a car so easy to go off site for meals.

We have enjoyed our stay. Started the week out at Marriott Vacation Club at Cypress Harbour in Orlando (one of my favorites besides DVC), drove over to John’s Pass at Treasure Island near Tampa for a great beach day, and then ended our vacation with a few days at Wilderness Lodge to use up expiring points. It has been a fun and relaxing getaway.

Has anyone used a DME bus from the airport to a WDW world?

I saw some photos a few days before the resorts reopened.

Does anyone know if geyser point closed down because of the bar limitations?
I was wondering the same thing. I can't see them stopping guests from having access to alcohol, but my guess is no sitting at the bar - table service or to go only. I would love to hear if anyone is there.

It looks like Bar Riva just took away the bar stools and made alcohol "to-go" :)

I wonder how long they (Disney) can keep this level of attendance up and not continue to lose money? It looks deserted, which is great for the current few guests, but not so great for business, I would think.
