ANTM was tonight???

And I missed it! Did anyone catch it? What happened?

In the first hour they whittled the 33 girls down to the 13 finalists. The second hour was the first elimination episode. The girls had a runway challenge. Thirteen male models came down the catwalk and the girls then had to take one of the guys, get his outfit and turn it into something more feminine. Then they had to walk the catwalk in the outfit they had redesigned. For the photo shoot they had to portray model stereotypes...everything from the diva to the anorexic to the dumb blonde.

One girl that "stood out" (not in a good way) was Monique. When the girls moved into the house there were only 11 beds for 13 girls. Monique was one of the girls who didn't get a bed. When the others went off to get to know each other Monique took over one of their beds, pouring water on it. When the girl came back to claim her bed Monique said she had peed on the bed and was sure that the other girl wouldn't want it anymore. I think there will be a lot of drama with her this season.

I will attempt to write the rest in white so that it doesn't spoil anything for anyone...just highlight to read.

Melrose won the runway challenge and was treated some pampering. This took place while the others were doing their photo shoots. When it was time for her photo shoot she felt she needed her makeup retouched and became a bit diva-like. She even gave Jay some attitude when explaining why she was late.

Another girl, Christian, had come into the competition very strong, striking all of Tyra's classic poses in her interview and impressing the judges. During the photo shoot Jay said that he felt she had become boring and wasn't giving them any of her own personality, just recycled Tyra moves.

Melrose and Christian were the bottom two with Christian going home. Tyra told Melrose that if she acts like a diva again she'll be going home.

Yeah, I missed it too there was a lot of confusion over the channel here since the CW is new. I am so mad I missed it. But they do replay it on SUnday

I missed it too. Had the same problem with the whole CW thing. Will look for it on Sunday.

Sigh, I guess I just have to be ok with not seeing the first episode, just found out my husband is getting a PPV that day and time (Sunday) CW is working for me now so at least I know I won't miss next week. fansofrealitytv.com is a great site to check if you miss an episode or anything, they even post the pictures its really a great site.
