I would probably do the exact same thing.Awww, and sitting for long periods of time, doing nothing, just feeling your baby kick or watching your belly. DH always wants to know how I can "sit there doing nothing".

I used to stuff a diaper into one of the outfits we had bought and drape it over my shoulder while patting the "bum". Not for long periods of time, of course.Soooo, don't feel so bad.

You are going to be such great parents. I hope the time flies by, your pregnancy is uneventful, and you're holding that new baby soon. Praying he/she will go to sleep.

The night before I gave birth, I cried and cried and DH couldn't understand why because we were finally going to be able to see DS. I was crying because I missed him in my belly already!
Thats so sweet, I just started to tear up LOL! My little man is 4 now and I totally miss being pregnant with him. I miss all those little kicks and bumps and flips.

Do you have much decorating left to do?
I used to love to wash all the baby clothes before my son was born and fold them into neat little piles in his drawers...then I would take them all out and do it again
I was almost 4 weeks passed my due date with him...everyone kept telling me I mis- calculated, I know I didn't
and so did my doctor. Anyway, I was convinced that I was going to be the first woman ever who never actually gave birth and would be pregnant for the rest of my life
Yeah, those hormones really do a number on you
I got so pissed one day that I took the crib apart because I knew I was never going to go into labor

And KaterKat - I literally LOL at you dressing the cats up. My cat is 20+, so not thinking that will work here!
Don't tell anyone, but I used to dress the cats in Russ's soon-to-be-baby outfits. It was good practice for dressing a toddler!![]()
Now I don't feel so bad!
