Another Xbox question....

I would maybe try Craigslist first to sell it IMO. You probably won't make as large a profit but at least you won't have to worry about buyer complaints.

Also, if you have FB maybe post a status that only friends can see and say you have one to sell if anyone you know or they know is interested. That has worked for me too.

I've seen so many reports of buyers claiming items were missing from the box and sellers forced to give refunds on ebay. That is the part that makes me nervous. If they claimed the controller or gold card was missing what would be my recourse?

It helps to have photos of everything. And ebay will arbitrate for you, if comes to that. But if you are concerned, just take it back to Costco. They are awesome about taking things back.

Happy Holidays!

I would return the xbox one and get a 360. There many really great games for that age range for the 360 and they will be able to find new and used games for several years to come. Just walk into a gamestop store and you will see lots of used games at great prices.

FYI - at that age check out the lego games - lots of fun, multiplayer, and they don't need to be online to play. If they like racing games, the NASCAR games are fun. I didn't let my kids play T rated games till they were 13 and they had a huge collection of fun xbox games.

Also, I know of a few serious gamers who do not plan on switching to the xbox one - they don't like it compared to the 360, so or it may not take off.

As far as the xbox 360 becoming obsolete - I just don't see that happening. Of course, when we have four or more teens here, they tend to fire up our old gamecube as it has some really great four player games.

That's a tough one since your kids are still pretty young. The 360 will be obsolete in 2yrs for sure I'd say...so in that case I'd go with the XBOne.....

The 360 will absolutely not be obsolete in 2 years!

OP, a regular Xbox 360 is what you want for your kids.

In case you are still looking to purchase. Target has the XBOX 360 4GB bundle with Kinnect for $249 and a free $25 gift card. Comes with two games. Free shipping too. Just ordered mine for my DS11.

No, instead, she would have to worry about meeting-up with shady characters in strange places and e-mails from far-flung countries that open with "You sound hot..."

Granted, eBay does have a fee structure that many in the "cheapo" set doesn't like , but my experiences have been that both buyer and seller gets some degree of protection.

In fact, I am selling a game system, right now and things are moving, smoothly...
