Another Wonderful Switching resorts ???

Hmmm where to start... I am always so bad at writing out a bunch of ?? and thoughts.... but here it goes.

We are splitting our stay in May between BC Con and Poly LV Con. There are several options available for us on our switch over day(the Monday after Mother's day, if that matters).....

Our goal is to get one of the rooms we requested (3rd floor, unobsturcted castle view)..... Running on the thought that if one such room is slated to open up on Monday, we being first to request it in person could give us the heads up on it. Does that sound right??

Soooooooooooo Should we head over to the Poly early to check in? Or could we call from the BC in the morning to check on our room, then leave for the Poly later......

If our chances are better going in person, can one of us bop over there early, before we check out of BC?

We understand there could be(will be) a wait for our room and we are prepared to either hang back at SAB (can we do that after we check out?), or "Do" the Volcano Pool, or MK for the day.

It is the family consenus that we attempt to get our room requests filled..... but not a vacation breaker if we dont. Just an effort must be made...... Gotta shoot for the stars

I have found that faxing a request three days prior to arrival is the best way to get what you want. (If it is available) Since you will already be at the BC Con, I would have the con. service call over to Poly Con and see what they can do.

Be sure to be extra nice at BC Con when pleading your case. Don't have a "I deserve this" attitude. Instead, explain your situation and be considerate.

Going to the Poly early is no guarentee of the room you want. I would try to pre-plan once you arrive at BC Con.

Also, you can stay at SAB if you want, but I'de rather go over to Volcano once you check out. (Otherwise you do not have a private place to change etc.)
