I know this was discussed not too long ago, but I didn't want my questions to get lost in the shuffle. I made the decision this year, after all the snow we had in NJ, that by next year I would be living in Orlando. My boyfriend will be going off to college in the fall and that is going to leave me roommateless, and without any real reason to stay in my current situation. I'm trying to save a bit of money before the time comes that I'll need to move, so that I have the finances to get down there and settle in.
My only problem is I don't know where to start! I am a medical biller by trade, and look into jobs on craigs list. Most of them require you to be bilingual, which I am not. I have past retail experience so I figured I could always start in retail just to be employed, and in the mean time look for a medical position. Also, I'm going to need to find a cheap apartment that will allow me and my two cats. I've been living in an apartment for a few years now and know how it goes, they need to see proof of employment and salary. How am I going to find a place to live if I'm not employed yet, and how am I going to get employed if I'm not living in Florida?
I tried to look into temp housing and the prices are astronomical!
