Hi all. I have a question and I hope someone can help me. I will be in DW next week with my parents. My father can not walk long distances so we will renting an ECW. I tried to talk him into getting one from an offsite place that delivers it to the hotel and he would have use of it for all the days we are there, but he refuses to. He says he will just rent one at each park. My question, finally, is that someone told my parents that at the TTC, there are wheelchairs that you can use to get from there to the wheelchair rental place inside Magic Kingdom. I said I have never heard of this. It is a long distance from one to the other so he is a little worried about going to the Magic Kingdom. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

They are there, but on a first come first serve, so they might not have one when you need it.

There are 2 potions where you need to walk - if you are parking in the regular parking area, there will be a parking lot tram that you can take from the end of your row to the TTC.
If you are parking in the handicapped parking area, there are no trams. They do have wheelchairs that can be used to get from the handicapped parking area to the TTC, but no guarantee they will have any when you arrive. It all depends on how many were used, how quickly and whether CMs had time to move them back to the parking area. The same thing applies for the TTC. You may be lucky and they will have some or you may be unlucky and they will be all out.

If you are staying on site in one of the non-Monorail resorts, the bus will bring you to the park entrance, which is the same place that the monorail and ferryboat would drop you off.
