Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

Still waiting (impatiently) to see what does/doesn't get approved on the 24 we made...

For those that have a good qualifying rate...
what kind of camera are you using?
Best Buy isn't honoring my warranty, so I need to shop around for a new camera. I can use my camcorder, but the colors are really washed out.

This is day 9 of waiting to see what gets accepted. Does it usually take his long?

Day 6 here. :sad2: I figured it wasn't a good sign.
I don't know what the current approval time has been lately...:confused3 A few months ago they were approved within minutes. I just assumed mine was still pending because it will inevitably be rejected for something. Has anyone waited days and still managed to have it approved? :confused3

i had 5 pending for 7 days and only one qualified for payment. But I am having audio sync isues, so I don't know...

I think the longest I had waited for an approval last month was toward the end, maybe 6 days. All 16 of my videos were approved. I only had to redo 2. I have just been much more careful about my lighting and excess noise (aka kids.)

iheartdisney - I use the video setting on my Canon Powershot digital still camera. I have a nice camcorder, but it's a pain to have to go through 2 programs to get that video to fit the 75mb size.

I know...I was using my canon up until April, when I noticed a squealing noise in the videos. Best Buy took 3 weeks to tell me they aren't going to honor the Extended Warranty. So right now I am using my camcorder until payments for April get snt out so I can buy a new camera. I'm looking at the Canon 590.
Its amazing how prices came down in four years! I bought my A80 4 mega pixel in 04 for $299 (and that was on SALE!)
NOw, the 590 with 7 or 8 MP is 150!

Oh, I know. We bought our Canon SLR Digital Rebel, 6.3 mega pixels for $1000 four years ago. Now, you can get the Canon SLR Digital Rebel, 10.1 mega pixels for less than $700!

I had 6 approved over the weekend that had been pending for over a week. I'm up to 19 approved for April, with one still pending.

Well...it finally happened..it got approved!

Ok so my question is this...it says that my video was approved and it qualifies for 'upfront payment'...but when i go into the april earnings it doesn't show anything? :confused3 When and how do I find out how much the payment is for it? :confused3

Another question...I had alot of mines approved but the ones that say I can re-do, what month will we now get paid for those. I can re-do then tomorrow but if they send me the payment for the other ones before approving these, will they then pay me in June and then have that count towards my 20 in this month?

Well Congrats! I uploaded my first 2 last night, now I'm just waiting to see if they were approved before I do anymore. I'm afraid I didn't make them very good - but we'll see.

For those of you using Movie Maker, how do you get the revised version into ExpoTv with it being saved as a MSWMM File. It only saves it as this on my laptop and my desktop:confused3 .

For you guys using the movie Maker to edit your videos, how do you get it into ExpoTv with it being saved as a MSWMM File?:confused3 It is saving it as this on my laptop and my desktop.:badpc:

Make sure you save it as a movie file with the best format for your computer.

When the window comes up after pushing "save project as", it has the box "File Name",to type in the name of the project and the box under that is the "Save as type" which has "Windows Movie Maker Projects"already in it and that is the only option there:confused3

Ypu have to save it to your computer. I had that problem when I first started but once I actually saved it to the folder for my expo stuff, I could upload with out problems.

Don't just pick "save project as", choose "save as movie file". The save project saves it in the movie maker format so you can make changes later. But you also need to save it as a movie file to change the file type. You then get the choice to save to a format best for your computer, which is what Expo needs.
