Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

My third was redone and accepted. Now I just need to find some time when the house is quiet to do more.

Does anyone know if there is a program that will lighten the videos like you can do with photos?

Mean Queen~How long did it take for your redone review to get looked at? I've had several in pending for several days.

About lighting, my first 3 were rejected because of it. Then I realized there was a setting on my camera I could change based on what kind of lighting you were in. Had no idea it was there! I redid mine and they were all accepted.

Let me know your usernames so I can watch some of your videos. You can PM them to me if you want.

Well, I messed up. When I reuploaded my redone review, I did it the regular way. Then I realized my mistake and used the reupload button and emailed Expo about my mistake. The first upload was approved, but the one using the reupload button was still pending. I did exactly the fix they suggested and it worked.

Most cameras you should be able to adjust the white balance, select from indoors, outdoors, etc, and it can lighten itself depending on what light you are using.

I LOVE the new process. so far no rejections!

Ok, now I had one rejected because the audio was "whiny" and told to try another recording device. This is the same camera I've used for over 100 reviews, including the one that got accepted since the changes. I'm starting to feel like just giving up.

Edited to add that I found some software to remove the background noise, so we'll see if the next one goes through :)

It worked!!!! By filming in a different room and in front of a window and then using the software I found to remove the background noise, I finally got another one approved :cool1: . Now I'm feeling better. I guess I'll just have to find a way to do them during the day when there's natural light.

GOOD! It always feels so good to see that approved! I now only do mine in front of the window.

I have done 9 with 7 approved and 2 pending. So not too shabby. Hope you have continual success

Ok I finally got myself up and ready to do reviews after 2 days of researching and calling HP to see how to use the webcam in my laptop to make videos. Started early at 5:30 in the morning when it's nice and quiet, I start my trial runs. Finally I get one I like and I try to download it. After 10 minutes of looking for it in this computer, I click on it and upload. I get an internet message twice and on the 3rd go around I notice the size of the video is 51.8MB:eek: , that's too big. Then I sit down and do the video trying to get it at exactly 1 minute (Last one was 1 minute 10 seconds), It still was over 50MB. I am trying to find out if there is a way to resize the video and the settings so they wont be so big. Anyone now how?

Do you have Windows Movie Maker on your computer? You can import your video into that (import into collection), drag it to the edit line, then choose to save it into a movie file. You can then set up the size when you save it.

I have the movie thing and have imported it but how do I change it now.:confused3

How is it going for everyone today? I'm having great luck. :) I'm 7 for 7 today.:cool1: They seem to be accepting them much quicker today.

Does anyone know when we get paid for last month? I thought it should be soon.

I usually get paid around the 11th of the month. I'm wondering about the bonuses this month. Didn't we get them a day or two before we were paid last month? I hope it's more than 18.00 this time.:confused3

so I was right, it should be soon. Do you think they'll do bonuses with this new system?

I don't think this month (April) ,but I think they did last month. I hope so anyway. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.:confused3
