i'm fairly new to expo TV (joined in mid-november) and i just got a video rejected because it said the product was not plainly shown (or something like that). i was reviewing the movie "the patriot" and, as with all my DVD reviews, i was holding the case and the movie was playing on my laptop in the background. anyone have any ideas why it got rejected?

Sometimes they may not be able to tell what movie is playing in the background. You could just tape a bit of the show and add it to the end of what you did and reupload it. I had 2 rejected before and did this to fix it.

I'm having problems uploading tonight...actually all afternoon. My videos are uploading out of sync, only 2 of 15 uploaded correctly. I thought that problem was fixed - I had no problems with my november uploads! Any thoughts? It's so frustrating! I'm working on the second uploads now...

I've noticed when I'm doing too much other stuff online while uploading, my stuff gets out of sync. Try uploading it while not running much else on the computer.

has anyone been told that they received your w9 info after you sent it to them ? I am also still waiting on payment. I usually get paid between the
11th and 13th of each month we'll see.

I have never gotten paid this early on. I think the earliest has been the 14th or 16th.

Apparently they are not paying until your W-9 has been sent in and according to their forum they start processing all of them tomorrow and paying out by who has returned theirs, so it could very well be next week.

Alright, this expotv thing is frustrating. DF uploaded 3 videos, all got rejected. The only one I see being justified is the poor lighting one. I uploaded 4, and all got rejected because they claim the audio/video is not in sync. It is! I look at their preview function on the website under "My Videos" and it is synced up correctly.

I agree, it is very frustrating at times! Do you use moviemaker to save your movies? If so there is a "brightness" function so you can lightem them up. As far as the not in sync issue, I think their explanation is that sometimes your computer has codecs that theirs doesn't support. So even in their preview it can look fine on yours because you have these? I'm not sure - but good luck!
