Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

So under "Computers" it says Software, does that mean I can review each of my kids computer games and they are $10 ??? Do I need a Model # for them?

It is strange how some of my reviews will say 0 plays yet they will have several "raves." What is their deal? I better dig up some more pet stuff. Glad I did a ton of that already. Now I can do more computers/electronics/travel.

Uploading is at least working right now. I have a few more baby items and sports and outdoors to review. However, my Dad, who lives with us in our house, thinks that this is all a total waste of time and effort (let's hope he's not right). Anyway, everytime he sees us recording, he rolls and eyes and walks off. We've been trying to do this behind his back, and that is one of the reason I didn't get many in before the 10th. I have enough craft items and toys to get 100 items for probably a couple months for both DH and me. We usually record in our bedroom, but there are a few things for outdoors such as sport equipment, bikes, ect that can't be done in there. So, I'm trying to decide is it worth him thinking I'm a complete fool or just forgetting about those last few items.

NP- I figured it was easier just posting the whole email then summarizing it! Figured we're confused enough as is- we need things in BLACK AND WHITE!

I'm assuming (which we all know what THAT means!) that if you've uploaded before tomorrow at midnight, it will still be in the $10 category. IF they are approved since they ARE cracking down (where's the icon of the guy beating the dead horse?) on badly made videos.

We'll just see how this goes... For me- I don't come up with items easily- so not knowing automatically whether it's a $2 item or a $10 item would be a PITA next month. Grrr. Of course, $200 extra next month IS still $200 extra- even if I only got $2 a vid- it's just... kinda irritating!

I agree!! Everyone thinks Im silly for doing these videos as well, but guess what, I was able to take my son on a MAJOR shopping spree for back to school clothes yesterday with my expo money. So....No fool here!

I'm the same way- I need the money too much, I'll get as much out of them as I can- Does the email sound to you like they are planning to stay "afloat" at least until after September? I hope they can make payroll-

Computer games are not considered software. They are PC games, which is a subcategory of Video Games & Systems. It’s only a $2 review.

Well I just ran outside and quickly did the bicycles and all the stuff related to the pool that I could. I had no problems just now uploading about 12 vids and I hope they approve them. I did notice though that almost all the pool chemicals they had categorized under home and garden then grills...what the? and one chemical was even categorized under electronics. I think they are all morons there. I checked off no matches and put in all under swimming but if they want to they will change it anyway. I will be thankful for whatever amount I get next month but ive really been dissapointed how they dangle the 10 bucks then take it away. I am off work tomorrow and DH just called to say he got off too, he was taking off for his sleep study tomorrow night anyway, so he said we could do videos tomorrow morning and get his finished. I really hope tomorrow isnt horrible for uploading but we will see. I really do think they have no clue what they are doing there.

You can rave a video without watching it all the way to the end. You only get credit for a play if it's watched till the end. A lot of people are raving videos to get entries into the Karma clickfest.

This is just for fun... I was trying to figure out how to review my puffer fish- but the video became diverted (not to mention the light from my camera blinking on my tank!) and I thought some of ya'll might get a chuckle out of the diversion...

Thanks! I still need 4 more items. I think I'll hit petco. I can buy fish food I need anyway for $2 and make $10. I'm still ahead $8. Maybe the dog needs some new toys too!

Thank goodness I saw this announcement here! All of my items are Fish or hamster items. I thought I maxed out my things until I realized I had gravel, an extra fish tank, and some fish tank ornaments.

OH! and Hamster bedding!

I wish they would have sent that email last night! I took a night off when I could have recorded!

I had a bunch of approvals today, too. Some of them were from the same batch as ones they rejected for being "poor audio quality" Here's hoping the rest get approved, too. I have a couple more Pet videos I want to try to do. After that, I may just sit on the rest of my videos to see what the Sept. promotion will be.

It is not worth my time to do them at $2 each, so I would just hold off on them until September's dealio comes out. I wish I knew what was going to be in the $10/$5/$2 categories, but if they released that info, then we'd hold off on doing some now. At least I would.
