Another waitlist success!!!

I got the call this afternoon my late October waitlist came through the rest of the way!!!

I originally had an OKW 2 bedroom for 4 nights which I got off of the waitlist in one day when my brothers family decided to join us 4 weeks ago, but we really wanted those last 4 nights of our trip at the BCV. So, we waitlisted day by day in hopes to get it.

Last week I got the call that my first night was available (yea!! dedicated Queen/Sleeper).

Then a few days later I got the call for our 2nd night (yea!! but oh no, dedicated Queen/Queen). This means we still had to move 2 times in 4 days as we have OKW for our 3rd and 4th days ).

Yesterday morning I got a call that my waitlist for our last night came through (yea!! dedicated Q/S). Well, we hoped that 3rd night would come through so at least if we had to move we were only moving w/in the same resort.

Then, yesterday afternoon I get the call that my 1st night night came through in the dedicated Q/Q, so we have a Q/Q for our first 2 nights. Yea, at least we didn't have to move for the first 2 nights

Finally this afternoon, I get another call!! My last 2 nights came through in the dedicated Q/Q!!! So we won't be moving after all!!

Boy this sounds confusing!!! I hope you all can follow it! Either way it worked out very well for us! I would have been happy in any 2 bedroom set up, but the one we got was the preferred one

I am amazed how well the waitlist worked for us! This is BCV during Food and Wine Fest 3 months out in only 4 weeks of waiting! I am thrilled

I've been on this board too long as I actually understood every word you wrote!!

I now speak a totally new language DIS-SPEAK DVC!

I am still waiting for one more day of my waitlist ,Oct 23rd. What dates did you cancel at OKW???? Maybe my 2 bedroom will come through....Fingers crossed....

I cancelled the 23rd in a 2 bedroom at OKW yesterday about 1:00 PM Central during the call when my waitlist came through. My brother will also be cancelling the 21st and 22nd. He tried yesterday, but when he called to cancel, the computers were down, so he will be cancelling the 21st and 22nd in a 2 bedroom at OKW today assuming the computers are up I hope you get the day I cancelled!!!!

We will still be at OKW for most of our trip (Oct 10-21), but we just wanted to try BCV for part of it

YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My waitlist cleared thanks to you!!! They said it cleared on Thurs-Aug 21 about 3pm ( I had to ask)...

I can't wait to go!!!!!

I am so glad your waitlist worked out too!! It is so nice knowing that someone here on the DIS needed and got one of the days I cancelled

Now I guess we can relax for the rest of our waiting instead of having our trips up in the air! I just hope our trips get here soon! I am so ready to go
