Another vaccine-preventable disease making a comeback

You know, I am vaccine wary and chose my own schedule for my kids (after a reaction in my first ds to his first shots), but the HIB vaccine has virtually no serious side effects and is one I would give without hesitation given the seriousness of meningitis. I also breastfed all of my kids and this also offers a measure of protection against infection. My 2 y/o has not gotten her last hib shot in the series b/c of the shortage. I think I will try to seek it out now.
