how are you?

Very tired. I didn't fall asleep until after midnight and then one of the dogs wanted out around 1:30 and then the other around 3am! DH built a fire last night and it was way too warm. Then I had to get up at 6am. I've been having a horrible time sleeping the last couple of weeks, barely getting 5 hours of sleep. I have no idea why. So tonight I tried a yoga video made especially for people having sleeping problems. Thought I was going to fall asleep after about 15 minutes, so I guess it worked. I'm sitting here with very heavy eyelids.

So how are you this fine rainy day?

he DOES look like a total goober. but I like some of his music. The earlier stuff, anyhow.

I LOVE that song! I got the CD this summer. But my favorite song on there is Roll On. Boy don't they have a crappy sound system this year. Everyone sounds, well, not so great! I've seen several of the country artist's at concerts and they always sound way better than they do on the CMA Awards show.

Kid Rock started out as a rapper, but sorta ended up doing some songs that were well received by the country music audience. I have a couple of his CD's and he is also a very accomplished song writer, amazingly he writes some really deep songs. But he just sprinkles them with obscenities and that kind of takes away from them. He is getting better about cleaning up his language and I still like his music despite them. Actually, confession time here, he's one of my favorite singers.

Oh and here's George Strait. I think he's so hot and classy. And while I'd like to imagine that I could party with Kid Rock, let's face it George Strait is more my style and speed.

I would also dump DH for Keith Urban or Tim McGraw. I think I could take Faith Hill!

Glad your DS4 is doing ok. That was quite a scare you had today.

You know, I was telling DH about all this at dinner, and he got mad about DS4 getting into his bedside table! He starts yelling at him to stay out of his stuff, that's Daddy's stuff, don't touch it...

I'm standing there with my mouth open, and finally when he stopped I said, "Did you MISS the part where I said he BIT the glass vial open? As in probably had cologne and GLASS in his mouth???"
