Lord, I have shopping on the brain and that is NOT GOOD for the budget! Oh well...
Anyways, can anyone tell me, ballpark, what the average cost of a sweatshirt and t-shirt is for adults and children in WDW?

I figured I have researched almost every aspect of our trip (including sunrise/sunset data) that I need to now research souvenir prices. Yep, I'm a freak...go ahead say it.

With 66 days to go I don't know what else I'm going to have left to research! ACK! :hourglass

Hmmm... good question.

I don't remember the exact pricing, but I would say 20-30 dollars for a tshirt (the lower end, not a polo shirt) and sweatshirts maybe 30-50 dollars. I guess I'm not really much help. The only shirt I have ever gotten from Disney was just a thin pink tshirt that said "Wishes Do Come True" and it was around 20.

Don't worry, you're definitely not a freak. That title definitely belongs to me in the vacation shopping planning dept lol! I would spend tons of time looking at a bunch of websites and message boards trying to find out around how much something might cost and where the "best" stores were, etc. princess22's estimates sound about right to me, keep in mind though, that hoodies will cost more than just a basic sweatshirt (I saw some hoodies at DL for over $100, but that was way over what they usually were, which was around $50-$70 for the hoodies) And of course, anything with glitter or embellishments will cost more. In fact, I think they had "designer" shirts in Cali for $100 for a t-shirt  Just keep in mind, if something seems ridiculously overpriced, you can probably find a better price on something just as nice :thumbsup2 Wow, I just typed a lot more than I was expecting to. Have an awesome trip though :)

When my girls were younger and we went to disneyworld, I would first go to the disney store by my house and purchase t-shirts and a few other little things. I would take them to disney with me, and always made sure I was the last to leave the hotel room. I would put 1 gift for each girl on the bed every day and they would love to go back to the room at night to see what Mickey left them when we were at the parks. I saved a lot of money doing this.

If you are staying or going off site and want to save some $$$

We got t-shirts starting at $5.00 at Walmart.
I have already washed them numerous times and
they are holding up great.

We also got some other items there, at a good price.

Have a great trip!

Not sure about sweatshirts, but I think our t-shirts for adults were about $20-$25. We also bought some before we left off ebay, and on sale at the Disney store. We got one shirt each at Disney World for a souvenir.

I have to agree with the people who said buying offsite or before you leave. My mom and I usually try to go to the outlet in Cali when we're there and have found some amazing deals. So if you have the ability to go offsite for a day it may be well worth it :)
