My mother in law has Parkinson Disesase and has trouble walking but would like to go on a family trip to Disney. Can you rent wheelchairs? If we stay in Disney is a moderate or value better for a handicaped person. I am not sure if the buses would be accesable so maybe we would have to rent a car.
Thanks

I am glad to see that she's not letting Parkinsons rule her life! yes, you can rent wheelchairs at each of the parks. All the resorts have accessible rooms, but there might be more room to maneuver the wheelchair in a moderate or deluxe room than a value. And the buses have wheelchair ramps too, as well as the monorail and boats, etc. WDW really does look out for people with mobility challenges! (My DS-14 uses a wheelchair, and Disney is the easiest place we have ever vacationed!!) Good luck whatever you decide!! :cheer2:
