Boy I am posting more today than I have in months.

Wondering how people can give us room credits if they want to? my dad and dh's mom both were wondering what to do for xmas, and now we have something we really want, but I don't know how they go about doing it?

Any number of people can apply money toward your onboard account. This is their money that they are spending on you. It is refundable if you don't spend all of it (ha) and uses a different computer code than a credit from a TA, using Disney Visa, or rebooking while on board. It shows up differently on your room statement also. Basically, it is a pre-payment on your room charge.

How they do it--they call DCL with your ressie number and tell them that they want to make a payment toward your onboard account. If they tell DCL that it is a gift to you, DCL might even be able to send you some kind of announcement card to notify you of the gift (my thinking--I don't know if they do this.)
