Another PPO question...

Is a 9AM ADR for a 9AM opening considered PPO at BOG? Just scored my reservation for 2 at exactly 9, but will that get me in early?

Just as a follow up: I emailed guest services and asked the question. Here is the response

Guests with dining times right at or prior to Park opening are required to provide the confirmation number to a Cast Member at the Park Entrance. You will then be directed to the restaurant location. You should allow 15 minutes' walk time from the Main Entrance to the dining location.

Yeah, typical unhelpful response.

At MK, everyone is let in at the Park Entrance onto Main Street, to the Hub for the Open Show. Entry is allowed starting ~7:45 to that point.

Then there is a second CM with an iPad near ropes over on the left side of the hub checking dining reservations and times. It's then up to that CM if you are allowed past the rope or not.

The way I read it, I will be led back to the dining location after I show my confirmation number to the CM. I'm going to keep looking for an earlier time just to be safe, but if I can't find one I am printing that email and using it as "proof".

You won't be led back anywhere. There's not that kind of staffing. They let you through the ropes, and there are some CMs beyond to make sure people who are back there belong there and aren't loitering or trying to jump ropes, but are in fact going where they have been let in to go.

It's why I'm so side-eyeing the phrasing. There's no "led." The CM staffing the ropes isn't a maitre d who escorts each party from the rope to CRT or BOG.

Even with an 8am PPO ADR we’ve never been led anywhere at any of the 3 parks we’ve done this at. They check you off on their list and let you through but no one’s ever actually led us anywhere.

That makes sense. No way they have enough people to walk us all the way back to BoG.

Thankfully, I just got my reservation moved from 9 to 8:10 so I don’t have to worry about this anymore
