We discuss it in this weeks show, and I posted a teaser about it on my FB page yesterday, but I wanted to post about it here as well.

I received an email Monday night from ABD that a group that had been scheduled to travel on the BSM tour on July 25th had canceled, and asked if we were interested in taking it. Of course, this is REALLY last minute, but the pricing was good so I decided to take it on.

The cost of the trip is $2289 per adult/$2060 per child. That's pretty close to the pricing we had for our last group, and about $700 off the quoted price for that particular adventure in July.

We need 30 people minimum for it to go (40 people max).

If you're interested, the sign up page is located here. I realize it's short notice, but I'm SOOOOO hoping we can do this becasue the last one was beyond fabulous. This is the exact same tour we just did (Jim Henson Studios, shopping at Imagineering, Walt Disney studio tour, shopping at Imagineering, Archives, shopping at Imagineering, Imagineering tour, shopping at Imagineering, Disneyland, and shopping at Imagineering.

Walter, Mom and I will definately be on this trip, and its possible we'll have other team members as well but I can't be sure until I see how this books. If you're wondering if its worth it, just ask anyone that was on the last one. I'm pretty sure everyone had a great time - I know I did :)

Hope you can join us!!

Pete

$2289 per adult for trip.

:confused3 How much would I need to budget for shopping at Imagineering? :rolleyes1

I wish ABD had been a bit more aggressive in their pricing since the date is so last minute. I would like to go but the price with the single supplement is huge so I would need a room mate. Any volunteers?

I seriously would, but there is no way I can get that week of vacation now. July is the first month that books up with vacations at work, I know 2 other people in my department are off that week already. I'm not above trying to get them to give me the week, but I know one if off for her son's wedding and the other is going to Maine for her parents 50th anniversary party, so I'm thinking neither are going to want to give it up. :sad1:

I'd love to go, but unfortunately that is the week of performances for our daughter's theater camps. There's no way we can miss it. Oh well...

Aren't you going shopping at Imagineering this trip? :lmao:

Seriously, having done the trip with Pete and gang last month this Adventure is worth every single penny. If the timing weren't such, I would consider doing it again. Jaime and Mike were super ABD Guides.

Crap, the one week in the summer I can't go. Boy Scout summer camp for my son.

Wow...would love to go, not sure I can get the time away and would be on my own as well...how much is the single supplement? Who am I kidding??? I would need a roomie to sell this one at home anyway. It sounds spectacular. :wizard:

If you are on the fence about this, and don't mind hearing/reading more detail than the team provided on the actual podcast, take a look at my trip report - linked in my signature. It was a wonderful trip and totally worth every penny.

Just let me reiterate that your experience might not mirror our experience exactly - as was stated in the podcast.

sounds amazing- i would so do it if it wasn't the same days/week as my work's big User Conference at the Wynn in Vegas that I have to manage. Gosh, i will even be closer to LA being in Vegas, but just can't do the timing.

I hope it fills up and everyone has a great time!

It's way short notice....and all my vacation time for this year has been spoken for....and it's not in the budget....but I really want to do this!

I can't be sure I can go yet, but those looking for roommates and I should talk. The trip reports were amazing and after reading them I pledged to find a way to make it on a future trip. And Voila! Here's a future trip!

Off to crunch some numbers and see if I can figure out who I can dump my kids on.....

This does not include airfare correct?

Are you friends with Peter Pan?

When there's a smile in your heart
There's no better time to start
It's a very simple plan
You can do what the birdies can
At least it's worth a try

You can fly! You can fly!
You can fly! You can fly!

Do they allow you to drink at work? :lmao:

I would love to go and I can get the days off of work. I fall into the "I would need a roommate" category. Anyone interested in rooming together?

If we weren't getting back from the Baltic Cruise on the 18th we would so be there.

God, I just read Dodie's trip report and listened to the podcast and this sounds AMAZING! But unfortunately we would need a few years to save up for this. Hopefully someday...
