Another Minnie Trip Report

I’m going to make this mostly pictorial, as if I don’t, it will never get done.

Friday night –
Arrived at OKW around 11:30. Opened the car door to hear calypso-type music. OMG! I’m going to love this place. I danced my way into Hospitality house, checked in. Took a phone pic of the front desk, because it was just too cute.

And danced my way back out. There was an awesome flowering hydrangea tree that reminded me that I’ve never been to WDW in the spring. This was going to be great!

My one complaint about OKW was the fact that I have heard for years about how wonderful it is to park in front of your villa, but I could never get a spot by my villa. Not horrible to walk across the street, but I was a little disappointed.

Got to our 2BR and realized I left the room key in the car.  Oh well, I’ll just knock, as I should be the last one in. As I was raising my hand to knock, the door opened and I was greeted by 5 of my 6 roomies! Fun and giggles all around!

Saturday -

It’s not a WDW trip without a ride on the monorail.

It was hard to be so close to MK and not go in, though.

Time for tea at GF!

Off to DtD to meet more WISHers

The flowers were amazing!

Back to the room to prep for the race.

Wow. I HAVE to get in to Epcot for F&G for real sometime!

After we cheered to the very end, we took some pix and headed back to the room. Of for breakfast at Olivia’s. They recognized us from Saturday, so we got special treatment. Yup, seated on the patio and give coloring pages and crayons!

Then it was off for some pampering at the SSR spa. Heaven!!!!!

During a break, I went over to the pool. I missed the friend I wanted to meet, so took three trips down the slide instead! The little kids gave me funny looks, but I loved it!

Our new toes thanks to the spa.

Then back to the room for a quick nap. The alarm did not go off though, so it was a bit longer than I expected. Quick change and off to Chef Mickey’s!

OMG! I could see the castle from my seat at CM’s! How cool is that???

If the weekend has not been amazing enough, let’s do a wishes cruise! Up close and personal with the electric water pageant.

We watch the water pageant one more time and then back to the dock.

We were tired, but had to get to Jellyrolls as we had promised. Just going to stay for a little bit, though.

Yeah, right. What a blast!!!

Then back to bed. (Oh, wait, maybe this should go under Sunday)

Sunday – One last Minnie meet for breakfast at Spoodles. Yum.

Then it was off to the outlets and I had a quick trip to Palm Beach Gardens to see my cousin. Wow. Talk about a trip that flew by in a blur. It was very hard to leave Tuesday morning, but I did miss my dh.

I think it speaks volumes when you have hyped up a trip and counted down for 4 months and it exceeds your expectations!

Carrie, loved all the pictures!! Sounds like a wonderful time! I don't know how you got all that in - I was pooped after the race and just hung out by the pool!
