Another HoJo Thread

Normally, from what I have heard, they only offer the E rate when it is "off season".
If you do phone, call the Anaheim hotel directly and ask for In-house Reservations. The 1-800 number knows nothing about the E-rate.

They have SOMETHING every month. For example, there were no dates for July, then around June 30th, suddenly about a dozen dates in July popped up. It all depends on how busy they are.

You frequently won't get it for holidays or weekends, but often you will, midweek.

Your best bet is to go ahead and book your dates there at whatever rate. Then if your dates show up as Ent rate closer to your time, great. If not, cancel within the cancellation period.

I am also curious about this. We are spending equal time in DLR and San Diego for our April trip. It might makes sense to stay in Anaheim if we can get the HoJo rate, even for part of it.

Does anyone recall if it is usually available for at least some of the dates in the Spring?

I've been watching their site every day pretty much for the last 6 months and they seem very generous with the entertainment rates on the whole. I did book my March 2009 dates 6 months ago because someone tipped me off on these boards that entertainment rates were available at that time for my dates. I booked them exactly a year in advance- that may have been the way they used to do it, but not any more-- I got lucky. Anyway my dates are the 21-26 of March and they were all available at the $59 rate. I don't know if it was a mistake that those dates were up- but I'm guessing that a lot of March will be available. HOJO has the black out dates for the ap's on their website and as Easter is not until April 12th this year, I'm thinking if you check regularly and jump on them quick you will be able to get the et rate for most of March. I keep checking back btw because I'm really wanting one more day added.

Dates for February were finally listed this afternoon. So, we are getting closer to spring (March/April). I guess we will just have to keep watching.

Hey Everybody!

We never know when ET Rates are going to become available, unfortunately. It's based on our occupancy/projected occupancy- which is why new dates sometimes open up as we get closer! :]

The best thing I can recommend is booking early and just continually checking the ET Availability Thread to see if your dates open up! :goodvibes

I hope this helps!

I just booked today for Nov 08. The AP rate is 20% off.

We've stayed there twice and really like it. This will be our first trip in the $59 rooms (usually get $74 rooms.) I'm sure we'll still enjoy ourselves.

Room requests? Can someone who has stayed in the Premium rooms at HOJO's share some advice with which rooms on what floor had good views of DL? Last time we were there we never made it long enough for the firework show. If we stay at Hojo's it would be nice to have a room that had a good view of the park so we could watch the fireworks from our room. TIA!

Cedar, we just got back last night, and we stayed in building 1, 7th floor: room 1713. It was wonderful! There are tall ponderosa pines in front of the building and they block some of the windows, but our view was mostly clear--straight shot out to the Matterhorn. You had to lean a bit to see around the branches to see Space Mountain. But it would be a clear shot for the fireworks. We got the room at the Ent rate of $74 a night, for 4 nights.
