Do they usually sell out of tickets for any of the days? I had bought annual passes online. I then called to find out how to get HHN ticket with the discounted rate. The customer service rep told me they could get me HHN tickets with the annual pass discount if I called the annual pass dept. in the morning. I called them the next day, and they said that I couldn't order them without activating the passes first. However, I am in Wisconsin, and won't be in Florida until the day before I go to HHN. So I can't activate them. I am planning on going on 10/25. My question is- should I just pay full price for tickets, or wait until the day before and get annual pass holder discount? I am staying at the royal pacific, do they usually hold tickets for those staying on site?

There's no guarantee that they won't sell out but since you are going on a Thursday, you will most likely be fine. Just purchase your HHN tickets when you go to Guest Services to process your AP.

I have an AP that is not activated but was able to purchase my HHN tickets at the discounted rate by calling 1-888-331-3594. I hope this helps! :)

OK, tried the number and they said they couldn't help me and transferred me to the annual passholder line. The people there told me the same thing. "you have to activate your annual passes in order to get the pin number for us to order your tickets." This is really odd, because Busch gardens had no problem getting me howl o scream tickets and fear feast tickets right after I purchased their annual passes. I am so frustrated! I hate to take mt chances so close to halloween. I am only going to fly down there for three nights. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and pay full price.

maybe you could call and tell them to activate your AP? Did you by any chance buy the 2years for the price of one AP special? I know those APs are automatically acivated before you get there. I dont remember exaclty WHEN they are activated, but i got my DH one of those and we are going Oct 22-29. I had no problems getting our APH discounted HHN tixs.

Yes I did get the two year tickets, and they said they can't activate them. How did you know that they were already activated? Did you get a pin number of some sort? They keep telling me I need a pin number to order tickets.

I the ordered HHN tickets at the same time I bought the AP(by phone). However, I had DHs AP mailed to me. There is a pin number on the ticket. How did/are you recieving your ticket?

Have you tried calling guest services at the RPH? Maybe they can help you.

You can tell if they are a processed annual pass or one that you have to go to Guest services and process.

If you have the actual (processed) AP, it will have your name on the pass. If it doesn't have your name on it, it needs to be processed before you have a pin number. No annual pass is actually active until you enter the turnstiles for the first time. You can order tickets with you AP discount even if it isn't activated if it has your name on it because those also have a pin number.

It just depends how you ordered your ticket (or where you purchased them) on whether you get the actual AP or one that needs to be processed. Just check for your name.

That is exactly what they told me on the phone today! I am going 10/26-29 and plan on doing HHN on the 28th. I am going to wait until the 28th to get my tkts. The CM that I spoke to said that to her knowledge there has not been a Sunday that has sold out and I should not have a problem.

I figured if I can't get them, oh well then I do not go. This is an extra. I had not planned on going when I booked my trip. In fact, this is an after thought. I am staying on Disney's property and this was a Disney trip.. shhhh don't tell them on that board that I want to come to Universal :lmao: I booked my room in Feb for $59 at Pop Century but figured with the buy one year AP get one year free, I might as well throw in Universal since my DD asked to go. I hadn't been to a HHN in the last 2 years and figured it would be fun :cool1: If they are not sold out :thumbsup2 then I will go, if they are, then I will just be spending the day and leaving at 5pm.

Well, I decided to pay full price. I am flying down for three nights specifically for HHN and HOS. I did not want to take the chance of them selling out. I still find this whole thing totally stupid. Hopefully it will be worth the amount of money I have put into it!

I do not blame you. If that is what you are going for then you cannot take the chance. For me, that isn't what I was going for. It gets me mad that I cannot get my HHN tkts ahead of time with the discount. If they sell out by the time I can get them, like I said, I just will not go since this is an extra and not part of my planned trip. Good luck and hope you have a great time. Too bad we could not meet up ;) You will be going the day before I even get there. I live just under 3 hours away by car. If I were flying down like you and this was part of my planned trip, I would be very upset (just as you are).

That is not correct as our friend we were with last night went through this very same thing as others described.
I have already posted on another thread relating to this subject.
From what happened with our friend last night, get your AP activated and then go to the ticket window to buy your HHN ticket.
It was slow when we arrived at USO yesterday mid afternoon. After standing in line around 12 minutes our friend was instructed to activate her pass, and then return to buy her HHN ticket.
She easily spent a half hour just buying a HHN ticket with an AP discount.

DH and I have gone through these ticket pick up and buying US drills. When their guest service and ticket windows are BUSY it is not a pretty sight. :sad2:

You can enter the turnstiles with your unactivated annual pass. Go to the Guest Service Lobby. They can then process your AP and sell you the HHN at the same time. The Lobby is usually not as busy as the Guest Service window.
