another halloween? superheros

So this years annual neighborhood Halloween party's theme is superheros. I am far from skinny and all the women superheros have very skimpy outfits. Any ideas for the not so trim. (I've recently stopped smoking and have gained 15 pounds so kind of self concious of tight clothes.)

My hub is going as clark kent - in a suit with just a superman tshirt underneath !

Here's a twist. How about Wonder Woman, but in her Grecian like costume?
That's loose, flowing, and not so fitted Plus you could keep your legs warmer.

If your DH is CK why not go as Lois Lane? A nice work suit would do fine. I know she's technically not a superhero...but to a certain extent she is. In another universe. Where she died. And came back as a zombie LL with super black lantern ring powers.

Or so my husband was attempting to explain to me the other day.

You could be "Diana Prince" which is the alter ago of Wonder Woman or go with the Lois Lane costume.

That is a pretty short list unless you want to include Japanese anime superhero's. Now that is much more fun.

You could be a "Sailor Moon" character in the traditional Japanese schoolgirl outfit or a Power Puff Girl or any of the other superhero fav's in anime/manga.

That is what I would do...I mean they did not say American Superhero's did they?

OR here is a thought.....You get a REALLY GOOD man's costume so they do not know that you are a woman and leave them guessing. Now that would be very fun....

How about Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda? If you enjoy sewing, this would be an awesome costume to make...

Crazy Jane from Doom Patrol is a pretty great character AND being that she has 64! personalities, each with their own superpower, you can pretty much tailor her to whatever you decide. I've seen a few images with her wearing all black,which can be very slimming.
