Not sure if this should be in the planning or in the DVC section but here's my questions. I have rented points from a friend and will be staying at Kidani Village in January and purchased my tickets from Undercover Tourist. I've linked the tickets in the MDE app. When can I make my fp + reservations, 30 or 60 days? I thought it would be 60 but it appears by the dates showing available in the MDE app it's only going to be 30. And if so, is it impossible to get FP+ for tier 1 rides? I'm confused as heck now. TIA for your responses.

The DVC Rental can be linked to MDE. If you link both the room and tickets, you will be able to start making FP+ selections at 60 days from check-in.

When does the reservation begin? You won't see your dates available to book FP+ until 60 days before your check in date.

Check In Jan. 17. I figured it to be Nov. 18th at 60 days. What is causing me the confusion is this. After linking my tickets in MDE it gave me a message saying I could make FP+ at 30 days out. Will MDE tell me when I'm at 60 days that I can make FP+. Right now if I click on FP+, only 30 days out from today are bolder on the calender, is that just because the tickets are not a part of a package? I thought I understood this whole process until 30 minutes ago. UGH!!!

As noted above, you can only see on the calendar what you are currently entitled to book. (Days available to you are in bold).

Right now, you can book FP+ 30 days out because you have tickets linked but no on-site reservation. Once your 60 day window for the linked on-site reservation is open, you will be able to make FP+ reservations for your stay and you will see the 60 days in bold on the FP+ calendars. DVC reservations work the same as CRO/DRC cash reservations for this.

This is exactly how it worked for me, except we have APs, not UT MYW tickets. But the concept is the same.

The FP+ window opened at midnight / 12:00 AM Eastern for me.
