Another DVC left turn...

...I was speaking to the DVC guy at the Grand Californian last weekend and he said that the new tower at CR is confirmed but it will be "standard" rooms and not DVC at all. Also there will be an announcement of a DL DVC resort soon. He's heard that it will be an addition to an existing resort (like VWL, BWV etc.). He said there were rumors that they were razing one of the DLH towers and rebuilding as DVC, but due to the constantly high occupancy rates the idea was scrapped. He also mentioned that the chat board people usually get news way before him. I'm thinking GCV.

This rumor has been around since the GC was being built. There are supposedly already plans drawn up to add a new section to the existing GC hotel that would be DVC Villas only.
