Another driving from LAX question - sorry!!

I've been reading threads about how bad LA traffic can be at rush hour and it got me thinking (OK, I admit it worrying a bit!! Yes I know I do plan too much!) So if my flight lands at 2:15pm would it be reasonable to be at the car rental location at 3:30? So that would mean I would be on the road to DL during rush hour, correct? So realistically what time could I estimate that I could get to the GCH? I was trying to figure out if I would have time to check in and then get into the park by 5:50 to get a spot for the 6:30 parade.

If you are on the road at 3:15, you will hit a lot of traffic but you would probably be able to get there in time for the parade!

Which way are you planning to go to get there?

I just have never hit traffic that drive and we always get into LAX. We have landed in the morning, at 5PM at 11PM all times, and we get the car and drive, and we in all my times driving that route have never ever hit traffic, I just don't think a lot of people drive to anaheim from downtown LA. The traffic I hit is when I actually get to orange county.
