another dessert ?

I also have a dessert for 2 question:

We are having dinner @ Planet Hollywood 1 of the nights. I was just looking at their dessert menu and they all say "serves 2"

It will be me, dh, and dd (10) all eating off the adult menu ( and 7 yr. old on child menu- all of us are ddp) so since there are 3 of us and we are all expected to get a dessert how does that work?

Will 1 of us have to forgo their dessert?

*This night is also dd's 11th birthday. This was her choice for dinner and I want it to be super fun- but the idea of all 3 of us sharing 1 desert doesn't sound like much fun!!

please offer me suggestions!!!! FYi our itinerary that day is tusker house for breakfast followed by a day at Ak. Head back to CBR for a rest and Planet hollywood @ 9:00 for dinner( only ressie we could get).
Please feel free to offer me tips on making this day fantastic for my daughters birthday!!!!

I'm pretty sure that the "Serves 2" is a suggestion, but that the desserts are going to be extremely large. If you're family is big into dessert, you can certainly get 2 and split them, but if you're all eating adult meals, 3 spoons in a dessert that "serves 2" will probably suffice.

i guess what i am saying is will the ddp "cover" 3 desserts if they are considered "serves 2" ?
sorry if I'm not making sense! and for the record we are huge dessert people. it is the 1st thing i look at on the menu

Oh sorry, I didn't understand the question completely. Honestly, I'm not sure of the correct answer, but considering that it's her birthday, I doubt you'll have too much trouble getting her her own dessert.
