Another Counter Service Question

We'll be on the Dining Plan. If I order a Burger at Cosmic Rays can I have bacon added as part of the plan or will I have to pay extra? Looking at Allears.net I see they have bacon for an additional .79

Has Allearsnet updated their menu recently? I ask because when we were there 3 weeks ago both Allears and WDWINFO had wrong info. The double cheeseburgers are gone. Now it's only 1/3 lb angus burgers. You can get them with or without cheese and with or without bacon. But I gotta warn you the bun is horrible. The top was soft but the bottom was stale and so hard that when I tapped it with my finger nail you could her the tap tap. They didn't show the 1/4 lb burger on menu anymore and 1/3 lb is a waste because neither I nor DD17 finished ours.

You will not have to pay extra. Order as bacon cheeseburger, if you are like me I ask them to hold the cheese. Not a cheese fan here.

Thanks I've heard elsewhere on here that the buns were pretty bad.....

I concur with this. All the counter service places now have a 1/3 pound Angus Bacon Cheeseburger as the standard menu item. I wasn't very happy, as it's too big for me.

Is Pecos Bill the best place in Magic Kingdom to get a burger? Are the buns the same all over?

The 1/3 lb. burger is big enough for 2 lite eaters to share, especially with fries. All the buns are the same at the counter service places, but you will find variations at the table service places.

Pecos Bills' hamburgers are the same as Cosmic Rays...and every other Disney counter service burger. Both places have a fixings bar where you can add toppings to your burger if desired. But the basic meat patty/bun/cheese/bacon are all the same at all the counter service places serving them so if you really want a burger at Disney, just go to the hamburger counter service nearest your location.

Personally, we're totally underwhelmed by Disney burgers at the counter service places so we don't bother. Too many tastier choices around the parks & resort hotels.
