Another closing at DL.....

The Riverbelle Terrace will now be closed Monday thru Thursday opening only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This restaurant has a great and inexpensive breakfast and it is really the only place in EITHER park that has a decent breakfast at a decent price. I don't get it. On one hand, they have decided that AP'ers aren't such a bad thing (they keep DCA going) but they keep closing restaurants! Food is probably a very good portion of the revenue generated by AP'ers. Why force us to eat before we come? Disney hasn't got much of our food money lately, MiMi's on Harbor has. It's not that we don't try really hard to eat at DLR, it's just that the options are narrowing almost weekly.

I was very sad to hear this. We will be there Wed-Sat in Oct. and I had wanted to eat there during the week while the park would be slow and I could take time to have a nice family meal. Now, if we do it on Fri or Sat we will be giving up the early morning lineless rides. And with two small girls I don't think that is a good trade. Guess we will just miss this place all together for breakfast and eat in our rooms before the park opens.

I have wonderful memories of my family at DL in the morning and taking the time for a nice family breakfast sitting outside. Maybe the hours will be back up during my Dec. trip.

OH - I love the riverbelle terrace - That's where I always ate with my daughter and she loved it there!

We were in the park last week.Mon-Thurs I don't think there were enough people in the park to justify leaving it open.The park was empty. No wait for ANYTHING. Maybe it wasn't the best choice of resteraunts to close,but there definitely was no need to keep them all open.
