Another Cinderella's Castle question...

Hi all! I am sure that the answers to these questions are out there but I couldn't find the answers easily on the search...

We are heading to WDW around Thanksgiving. We are finally staying concierge so they will happily get us reservations for some character meals. We have two DDs--ages 6 and 3 1/2. They would like to go to the castle. Will they only see Cinderella or are other princesses there? Is the time really less than at Norway? How is the food?

What time would you suggest going if we want to get into the park as it opens?

If you did an adr way in advance you could probably have a nice lunch. They also let you enter the parks early if you have an early adr.

For bf and lunch, Cinderella is in the lobby of the castle for a photo opportunity and there are usually other characters in the dining room while you eat. For dinner, Cinderella will still be in the lobby but there won't be any other princesses in the dining room...the fairy godmother may be there but she only announces special celebrations and does not rotate around the dining room to the individual tables.

When we went to the castle for breakfast in January , we also saw Aurora, Mary Poppins and Wendy.

I was there for mother's day lunch. We had the Fairy Godmother, Belle, Aurora, Snow White during lunch and Cindy for pictures. In my opinion the food choices were very limited and the food not very good. The adults all got the 'pie' - beef with mashed potatos on a puff pastry. It was edible but not terribly hot or flavorful. You are definately going for the experiance not the food.

When we ate at CRT Lunch August 2005, the princesses were Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle. We enjoyed it so much we are going back this August even though it's now 2 dining credits.
