Another Canadian ticket question...

My brother bought the 4 day multi-day one park per day Canadian passes for his family because it was cheaper than buying a 3 day pass (even though they were only planning on doing 3 days in the parks).
He asked me if they could use the extra "day" in another park on one of the evenings to use up the 4th day. Does anyone know if this is possible? I am thinking no??
Also do they have to be activated at the park or DS only?? Or can they be activated at our disney resort?

TIA

I think you may have to call Guest Services and ask. We were able to use our "extra" day ticket to access EPCOT in the evening, we spent the day at Blizzard Beach. But that is a waterpark ticket so I'm not entirely sure if my circumstance was identical to yours.

No, sorry but I'm pretty sure they won't allow that. Adding park hoppers is more expensive than adding an extra day or two onto multi-day tickets, so of course that's what Disney wants you to do. If they allowed you to visit more than one park per day with "extra" tickets, people would just buy the 10-day tickets instead of hoppers to save the money.

Are they already visiting parks on arrival/departure days? If so, he may just have to "waste" the extra day, and consider it a bonus that he paid less regardless.

As for activating tickets, I have heard that they can be done at the resort only if the tickets were purchased as part of a package that included the room. If tickets were bought separately, I think he will need to go to a park or Disney Springs to do it. We did ours at Disney Springs on our arrival day.

Yeah that's what I figured about the park hopper/base ticket thing too - i.e. that is why they wouldn't let you use an extra day at night etc for that reason. They aren't using their tickets on their arrival day but maybe will now even though they won't arrive at the resort until around 7. We could even just go in to main street at MK or something like that as my family will all have passes for that day.

At DLR (DVC RO bookings) I have gotten my tickets from a voucher at check in but have never tried this at WDW.

I would call Disney and ask them as I believe we were told we could do that in the past (never ended up doing it so I can't confirm).

Based on internet searches though, it doesn't look like you can do it.

We had to take our passports with us to Guest Services at a park or disney springs to activate your canadian tickets. You can not use two days in one calander day for the 4 major theme parks.
