I just don't get it
I give 110% at school every day. the classroom teacher has missed about a third of the year so far. After being out for a week with me taking care of everything I came in to work to find a note on my desk with the hours she would be in the classroom today. There was a non-mandatory workshop scheduled that she promised yesterday she wouldn't be attending since she had missed so much school. Well, she scheduled herself in the classroom for about an hours worth of classroom time, didn't tell the secretary so she wouldn't be marked as out of the classroom (thus leaving me with no coverage, and no sub pay
) I showed the head secretary the note she left, and she is making sure I get sub pay for today. Then this woman leaves another note for me telling me I need to finish 2 projects she started but never finished -one required curriculum- and that WE need to get busy so they get done. I felt like saying to her, "who do you mean WE, kimo sabi?"
She hasn't filled in the student teacher's evaluation yet, and the student teacher won't pass the class unless it's done. She hasn't done my evaluation yet, which was due over a week ago
I'm starting to seriously think about asking to be transferred to another position. I do have some seniority, but I hate the thought of "bumping" someone. I guess what I really want to know is how can people treat someone they work with like this????
