Another Air Mattress Question in a Value -- with a twist

I know there have been a few posts about the feasibility of using an air mattress in a value room, but I have a twist on that. What if you DON'T put down the murphy bed?

I have twins that will be just about 3 when we go. They are getting big for cribs but I don't trust them in a bed yet. Thinking of bringing 2 small toddler air mattresses(they have little sides to keep them on) for them to sleep in and leaving the second bed as a table in our room at Pop. Is this insane? I'm thinking one on each side under the table?

I realize this is a pretty specific problem so we might have to wing it. Trying to avoid each of the parents sharing with a kid if we can, because both will end up wanting to be with me (mom) and I don't want to be trapped all night with them!

I think it will work out just fine and a good solution given those beds are pretty high, and the rooms have no carpet to dull a fall. Great idea!

I think they also offer bed rails. Not sure of the logistics for ease of removal and reattachment if you want to put the bed up but it's another option vs bringing air mattresses.
