ANOTHER Adventure in Autism (4/15) A Taste of What's to Come...

May I ask where you got the roll-up space bags? That would be wonderful for me to use since I am the only one dragging the luggage around.

Have fun with the camping and the 3 trips in less than a year. We loved it when we went twice in 10 months.

Space Bags ~ Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Fun ~ I'll let you know how much fun it is after spending a few weeks in a confined space with two kids, a dog, and a hubby! I just hope we don't get a lot of rain next summer! :umbrella:

I may need WDW by that time in order to preserve what's left of my mental health!!

First I have to say I love your reports. Our DS7 is on the spectrum so I like following along with others in similar situations.

I've often wondered about those space bags. Are the clothes all wrinkled when you take them out? I'd love to have less luggage especiall for our Nov. trip with sweatshirts, etc.

TIA

We have used them on many occasions and the clothes come out almost perfect, so do the cats, however the bags we use for the Hamsters always seem to have a hole in them.

Goofster: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

irish dancer: Bulkier clothes like sweatshirts and jeans definitely come out fine. 100% cotton t-shirts may get a bit wrinkled, but I also bring Downy Wrinkle Release and that works great!

I also just stack all our piles of clothes out on the dining room table a few days before we leave and wait until the night before to actually put them in the bags. I tend to just "flatten out" the bags and layer them in our rolling duffles, that may also help reduce the wrinkle factor! :thumbsup2

I was so excited to hear your FW news...and Aimee gets to go to Disney too! My dogs were very jealous when I told them that she's going with her family. I told my husband it was Ed's idea for your family to stay at Disney in hopes that he would take the hint. Not so much.

I drew a pleasant CM named Meghan who answered all of my newbie FW questions
I like how you put that...it does seem like the lottery when you call, some CM's at CRO are like winning the lottery and others are... well ... like not winning so much.

So whatcha got here, people is your basic trip-within-a-trip-within-a-trip report! Talk about yer mul-ti-tasking! Step right up and watch as the lovely lady attempts to juggle, not one, not two, but three WDW trip reports at the same time!!

And the crowd breaks out in loud cheers and whistles! :dance3: I think the camping trip sounds like a LOT of fun... your son is going to love it :grouphug: Ooooh... the AG's will need a whole new wardrobe! *running*

Kathy,

We are going to be there at the same time in August. We will be there the 19th - 29th:thumbsup2

The other option at FW is to rent bikes (or bring them if they can fit in the RV). We went to FW this past summer for the campfire singalong movie they have every night and I saw ALOT of people with bikes riding to the mercantile for supplies and to the pool. It sure beats $48/night for the golf cart:thumbsup2

If you have a free night. The campfire/singalong is a nice break too. You should be able to get the movie schedule on the camping boards right around the first of August. They have 2 small firepits going where you can bring or buy stuff to make smores, then a girl comes out sings some songs and Chip and/or Dale are there taking pics and giving autographs. Jimmy was disappointed he only got to meet Chip, but you only get to really meet one depending on what side of the little arena you are on. They have benches you can sit on, but alot of people who were staying at the campground brought beach chairs and blankets to sit/lay on during the movie. It was a nice relaxing evening.

I'm so jealous! Three trips? Woohoo :dance3:

I'm so excited for you :goodvibes

Too bad about the golf cart. Maybe you can stash some extra money aside for it from now until then :confused3

Hey...I'll bet you'll meet tons of DISers camping

okay lady, let's get this straight......

so far I have read about 2 family trips and 1 honeymoo....oops mean marathoner trips that have taken place.

now in ONE family trip report I am reading about another lovebi...mean marathoner trip and two week camping trip, while the dream home is being built!!!

that means, once I erase my Disney fuzzy math filter......6 TRIPS and 1 GREAT NEW HOME!!!

those marathon trips must be quite the trips.

;)

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: I quite agree! You'll need to write a book for the rest of us... or give seminars or something :teeth:

Hi Kathy!I am making ADRs for January and thought of you.I found your itinerary and it looks like we will both be at MK on that Friday.

Kathy,
Thanks for sending the picture of the RV you guys got for your trip and to live in while the house is being worked on.

So you say the same guy that designed the RV is designing your house?

Wow, I guess you did get a good deal….:thumbsup2

I'm so jealous!

Oh Gosh, that gave me such a laugh!! :lmao: Keith, you crack me up!

Seriously, though, I may need any RV camping advice you can give; we are going to be total newbies!

Okay - I am finally caught up. Sorry I have been MIA for so long!!

WHEW!! You have a ton of stuff going on. The marathon sounds great. My son is a cross country runner. He has asked my sister to run a marathon with him. Maybe I can use the Disney half marathon as a reward for something good he does down the road. I'm sure my sister would jump at the chance to do it with him.

Now you have yet ANOTHER trip planned??? Holy croley!! Sounds like you have alot of planning to do in the next few months. Have a great time getting it all worked out!! :thumbsup2

I also am finally caught up! WOW!!! CAn't wait to read the camping trip report!!!!!!!!!!!! TOO cool!!! :dance3:

Tip #1
It is called "Cruise Control" not Autopilot.

Mr. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, who set his 32-foot Winnebago on cruise control, left the driver's seat to brew a cup of coffee, crashed, and then sued Winnebago for not having a warning against the dangers of doing so, received a jury award of $1,750,000 plus a new motor home
