Another 1st Double Scoop Report - Completed (6/25/06)

Pam- what a great and detailed trip report.. just like I like em! LOL Thanks so much for taking the time to write your trip report. I really enjoyed it and it helps when I start feeling the cruise blues (LOL)- kinda relive it thru another person's eyes... again and again. :)

I do have a question though- weren't you TIRED after the cruise or didn't feel like doing so much? It sounds like you did SO MUCH at the parks after the cruise. I keep thinking we should do WDW before the cruise (like we did last time) and thinking I (we) wouldn't feel up to really making the most of WDW time if we did it after a cruise. We'd be in relaxed mode and well, we don't do WDW in relaxed mode and I'd feel like it was a waste of so much money if we did! (ie: didn't go to parks much, didn't feel like staying at the park, didn't do much at the parks, etc.) But from your trip report it seems like you still had a lot of "get up and go" after the cruise. Is this how you normally do it (cruise and then WDW) or how you would do it again? Just curious... we're still trying to decide the logistics of doing WDW and our do-over cruise(s) and whether we should do WDW first or after the cruise. So any input you can give on that would be appreciated! Loved your trip report. :)

Yes, we did do a lot at the parks after the cruise. We have done this on all three cruises. Mainly because we have always sailed at the end of May. Couldn't do it prior to the cruises because of school.

I will say that it helps when you have an AP, because then if you only go into the parks for about 3 hours, you can go back to hotel and rest or hang out by the pool. We did do this alot after the cruise. Partially, because it was sooo hot.

When we do the June cruise in 2008, we will most likely have to do it this way as well because of when school will be getting out.

Thanks for the great report! Sounds like this group had an awesome time!!!
