DP has received issue 16 of the AP magazine Envie+

A couple of things I thought would be of interest.

Inside a coupon for 20% reduction at the Disney Village restaurants - Cafe Mickey, Rainforest Cafe, The Steakhouse, King Ludwig's Castle, Annette's Diner, Planet Hollywood and also Golf Disneyland.
Valid during 12.00 - 18.00hrs and from 1 January through to 30 September.
No other promotion can be combined with this offer :)

Hotel discounts
Disney hotels 25% with a Dream AP. Offer available when your arrival date is within : 15th - 20th April, 4th May, 11th - 15th May, 25th May and 15th June. Maximum of 2 rooms can be booked.

Davy Crockett Ranch 30% for the same dates above. Interestingly it does not state that this is for any named annual passport type. Unlike the hotels where Dream is specifically mentioned.

Wow, those are great discounts. Shame I haven't got an AP yet:headache:

Hi I'm gonna ask a really silly question but bear with me I'm not well and having one of my famous blonde moments - apologies to all the blondes out there first;) .

Do you automatically get the magazine? DH brought our APs back in February so do you think we'll receive a copy? Also is it in French?

Thanks for the help - I'm going to lie down in a darkened room now - its been one of those days;) !!!

Okay - this may be an even worse question....and I'm not even blonde.

If I want to book a holiday for one week after my AP expires can I get AP discount if I book before it expires?

Unfortunately delivery is sporadic. I don't think I've received a magazine with my AP :confused3
As always all things related to AP are only produced in French :surfweb:

Interesting point :confused3
Since you need to have an AP to hand before you could book I'd guess that you would be able to.
I'd also guess if you don't renew your AP and can produce it on check in you'll probably be charged the full price.

You can but try :thumbsup2

We weren't asked for our AP when we checked in to the Sequoia Lodge at Easter. Then again our passes were still valid, perhaps they would know if the pass had expired, and not been renewed?

I wasn't asked to produce my AP at check-in either, when I booked room only at the Cheyenne with AP discount.

I have never been asked to prove i'm a shareholder at check in when I have got discount. There is always a first time though:rolleyes:

When we booked in at both Cheyenne and DCR on this last trip they allocated the room and gave us keys etc, then got the envelope which should have included our passes, realised there werent any in and so asked if we had APs but we werent asked to show them. I think as long as you have the AP no when you book thats what they're interested in.
They might query at time of booking that the pass will have run out (if they have that info on their system) but you can just say you are renewing

I got my Envie+ today too, but mine didn't have a coupon for 20% off in the restaurants. I take it that it was on a separate piece of paper, becuase I can't see anything about it in the book - unless I am missing something. Pity, because I could have used it when we go in 2 weeks.:sad2:

Karen

We picked one up on our last trip at the AP office (my friend was there buying her pass and we noticed them on the counter). We only had to show our passes and we got one per pass:goodvibes

It definitely made a differnce to our Cafe Mickey meal :thumbsup2

That's a good tip - will definitely look when we buy our passes in May!

I also got the magazine + coupon yesterday, so thanks for the translation Cyrano as my limited French is rusty! :thumbsup2:

When it arrived it seemed like a "sign" as this is the week when the planning is going to have to turn into a concrete booking (I hope!) - sis is dragging her heels

Hi, when were you there? If it was recent will make sure the AP office is our first stop!!!:goodvibes

Just saw the thread above mine - thatill teach me to post before reading all the thread:blush: - does anyone know if you can just print the voucher off or does it have to be a actual copy?

The DFs we are going with in August would love to go to Cafe Mickey and a discount would be brillant!

I hunted every place for this. Thanks :thumbsup2

The coupon is not part of the link. In our magazine it was a separate insert so unfortunately I think you'll need to have the coupon.

Thanks for letting me know. I'll see if I can pick one up there.
