Annual Passholder magic bands- no slider

We got ours about two months ago- same thing, just a note, no sliders.

We emailed Disney about two weeks ago inquiring about the sliders, they said just stop by Disney Springs Guest Relations and they will have them in their response. Not sure if its accurate or not, we are going in May and will find out then.

Just stopped by Magic Kingdom guest relations about 30 min ago. Asked the CM if they had any extra AP sliders in stock and she said "No I don't have any. What I've been told is that they are making a new design so we won't have any until they release those"

So we'll see. Could be wrong info or she could be right and their coming out with a different 2017 AP Slider. I'll be asking at other parks as well though to see

Sorry question what plastic card do we need for the discount? Is it just the annual passholder card that we get in the gate with or something else? I got my first AP in February also no slider.

We got our bands within the last few weeks, 2 bands, and they came with the orange sliders. We only got the orange, no year sliders last year too.

Well that is NOT encouraging for those of us that never got the AP slider with our bands. I guess I wont hold my breath waiting for them to send one.

Looks like we might be out of luck this year

When you activated your pass you should have gotten a plastic card that said Annual Passholder on the front. Your name should be on the back. You show that with an ID to get the discount. Of course YMMV with this as some CM's don't check.

There was a period of about a month or back in Feb where they sent out the AP bands WITHOUT the sliders. THe note in the box said they were sold out and would be mailed at a later date. So far that has not happened.

I'm aware. I was reporting that they have gotten them. For those that want to call and request them

We got our AP bands last month and too did not get sliders. Our kids like to have them.

i know it doesn't do anything, but it's the little things like this that make me feel 'special' for being an AP.

Just back, and maybe 'this' will make you feel more special!! When you enter the parks, there are signs and a special line for AP holders only!! Most times it really cut down on our 'line' wait time, but 'depending' we sometimes went in another shorter line.

More than one waitress at restaurants told us they are cracking down on AP discount accuracy - they 'must' see the AP card and ID. Most times I was not asked for an ID.

In march, I used it constantly, at least 4 times daily and I was ALWAYS asked for ID.

Was at the guest relations at Epcot yesterday they told me no time frame of when I would be able to get my slider.

So I am guess those of us who DID NOT get them probably wont this year.

So- looking into the annual pass. Do you get a separate magic band? We are going down in august and plan to upgrade to the AP then. Please clarify for me.

As soon as you activate your AP the option becomes available in your MDE to customize your AP magic band.
