yes, AP holders get a 10% discount,but not at all restaurants. you could also purchase a DDE card that would give you a 20% at quite a few restaurants. the cost is 50$ and is good for 1 year. on a recent trip my husband and i saved over 87$ w/the DDE card. this was just a short trip.

Yes you do get some discounts with the ap for meals. It is only 10% at the selcted locations and does not include alcoholic beverages and alot of the discount have to be between certain times. i.e. before 4pm or only during lunch hours. If you are going to purchase an ap I think it would be a better deal to buy a Disney Dining Experience card for $50.00. You save 20% on most table service places and some counter services (AK) and it includes alcohol. The ap has discounts for other places like mini golf, tours, and boat rentals.
